The flipped classroom is an interesting concept that we are seeing more teachers everyday implementing. The flipped classroom means most likely what you are thinking. Normally, teachers teach the material during class and leave students to complete homework or projects outside of classroom time. The flipped classroom switches that around by having the students read the lectures or notes before class so they can come in with questions they need verification on and allows the teacher and student to work during class together on projects or homework.
Open Educational Resources are resources that are generally free and are useful for learning and teaching. What this means is that these resources can be used by anybody and have few restrictions. The website I found gives a little more insight on what exactly is an OER. It provides you with reasons to use OER's and examples of them. https://iskme.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203528875-What-are-Open-Educational-Resources-
Prior to this, I thought I was pretty good at powerpoint. I used it often, but was not using it to it's full potential. Some of the skills I was unaware of before was making the powerpoint non-linear. I like this feature so much because it makes it much more interactive instead of them just clicking and enter button every slide. I remember playing Jeopardy in middle school, so it's interesting to connect know that I learned the tools to create something my teacher 8 years ago was doing.
