Diigo is a very interesting tool. It allows you to annotate websites and save them. I really like having the ability to annotate an article, within the article. It makes it quick and easy to go back to the information i may find interesting or vital to what I am learning. I also really enjoy that you can add sticky notes to the things you have highlighted.
So far through the semester, I have enjoyed blogging for this class. I like that it keeps all my posts and thoughts organized and in one place. I prefer doing a blog rather than a discussion board in classes because you can customize it to make it your own. I always find myself dreading doing a discussion board, but easily completing my blog posts. They're all due the same day and time every week, so I never forget to submit it.
An interesting Wb 2.0 tool that I would most definitely use in my classroom would be Prezi (prezi.com). Prezi is a website in which you can create presentations so quickly and easily. You really don't need to be that good at using technology to use it! Prezi allows you to enhance presentations by adding different kinds of pictures and visuals. I really like Prezi for a classroom, personally, because it creates a more fun, learning adventure rather than students staring at a boring powerpoint.
